2018 Awardees Have Heart for Service

This year, the Marialla V Magloire Foundation Scholarship in the Arts and Sciences was awarded to two well-deserving Leon High School students who embodied both the academic vigor and civic responsibility that has become the standard for Leon High graduates, particularly those chosen to receive this memorial scholarship.

Ms. Juliara Rapuzzi and Ms. Lily Sweet King both have given much of their time during their high school career volunteering as well as being active in their school's organizations and clubs. Their commitment to excel academically as well as their desire to help others in their future careers is the kind of positive spirit the Foundation hopes to see perpetuated in the students that come behind them. We look forward to hearing updates from both of these ladies, as they enter college and continue to pursue their goals.
